Aiden's pov
She wasn't going to listen, was she so I did what any normal person would do ,took her away in another space away from the praying eyes.
"You saw what happened did you , every guy who will try to talk to you would meet the same fate , so try not to test my patience , Star."
" Aiden , don't challenge me , you know very well ,i don't respond to your threats and, i certainly won't be at your beck and call following your orders."
You would think after knowing how true to the word , I am she would refrain from doing anything that would force me to cross my limits , but no she does exactly that , challenging me , testing me . Little does she know , I love challenges.
I stepped away , giving her space to leave , because I knew she would be flustered and needed time to process , what am I if not a perfect gentleman.
Next day ....
Adele's pov
The next day , I woke up emotionally exhausted , all i wanted right now was just to lay in my bed all day , but I promised myself i won't procrastinate.
I got up and together we headed together to sports arena where we were about to compete together in bunch of games .
I moved towards the arena with resignation , knowing , I was going to be with Aiden the whole day.
I was looking for him , a sentence i never thought I would say , I felt someone boring holes onto my shirt , and i turned around only to be face to face with him.
He stepped forward with his signature smirk which bothered me .
Aiden's pov
I was talking with Gio when I noticed my star had just entered the arena , there was something about which always caught my attention , and like moth to the flame , my eyes always seemed to find her even in a crowd full of people.
She was dressed in black gym shorts , along with a wine red sport tee which complemented ger skintone.
She was looking for me , I assumed unaware I was already watching her like the most interesting thing to ever exist .
It was hate yes , but a different kind , I never wanted to inflict pain on her , I just wanted her to feel the pain of betrayal which she made me go through.
Her eyes were a bottomless sea where i could lose myself over and over again , she doesn't know the power she has over me .
I pulled her towards me and she held my shoulder blade to support herself .
" Were u looking for me , Star ? " I said
"No for your ghost version , what drug are u on dude?."
Her sarcasm was quite refreshing to be honest because most girls would be nervous or blushing while making eye contact with me , meanwhile my star right here didn't hesitate to put me in her place which was just right beside her .
The games were now starting , first up we had a simple tug of war where we were all divided into two large teams ,and by chance she was positioned behind me .
The games started with the noise of a whistle and we immediately started putting all our strength into pulling the rope towards us when , I saw Adele about to slip , so I immediately tugged her towards me with my other hand and preventes her from hurting herself.
She was so close to me , her perfume , a subtle vanilla was intoxicating, she looked and smelled edible.
She slowly caught herself and we doubled our efforts and ended up winning.
Next up was a small friendly tennis match which Adele and I played , she won , honestly I was so distracted by the way she narrowed her eyes to focus , It felt like a win itself .
My favourite thing about her is her brown eyes which shows emotions more than she emulates.
She will not show me an ounce of emotion but her eyes , they say all she never could.
Adele's pov
We moved on next to the swimming competition , so we all were given ten minutes to change , I was just waiting outside the communal changing rooms when suddenly a door opened slightly , took ahold of my hand and pulled me in then locked the door. Before I could even comprehend and ponder over the absurdity of it all. He tugged me closer and said
"I thought you wanted to shower , so I thought of saving water , you know environment conservation and all."
" I always think about how ridiculous one can be , and you always lower the standard a little."
I replied a bit flustered inwardly but it will be cold hell when I admitted that.
"Well not enough to bring your ego down to earth I guess."
His hair were slightly damp due to the shower and he only wore a towel on the waist , the steam from the shower making the moment more intense than it actually was.
" Trust me , after what you have done , no down to earth ego would ever wanna stay with you even for a second."
The moment those words left my spine it was as if he was struck by lightning , see his expression darken even more , I felt chills down my spine and i regretted each word that I spoke. He was silent but i knew him well enough to see a flicker of pain in his eyes but he madked it quickly.
His blue grey eyes looked like grey thunderstorm which would carry me in the storm and leave me wrecked in the aftermath.
Then he spoke in a voice he never use with me , so ice cold , so hoarse , I was trapped in it .
" I tried to keep the hate between us playful , fun even but now you have unleashed a monster within me , I was caging , so now whatever happens is something you brought
on yourself .
I knew that now nothing will ever be the same after this.
So guys the phase 1 will start now this is the start of the hate , I love writing it has always been my passion , i would appreciate if you guys would comment on the story and follow me on this journey.
