The moment I heard his voice , it felt as if I was unable to move , speechless I turned around to see if it really was him.
He was right in front of me , his tall 6'1 stature looming above me almost as if intimidating me with his presence .
His obsidian eyes were reading my soul so deeply I forgot how to exist in the same space as him .
I finally cleared my throat and said
"What the hell are you doing here"
"Well this is no way to welcome your friend whom you have met after so many years , my my where are your manners Adele." He replied ,his deep chuckle was now grating on my nerves.
"In the trash where you borrowed your personality from." I replied honestly I was in the middle of reconsidering all my life decisions when he spoke pulling my wrist towards him causing me to stumble into him when
" Same sass can't say I didn't miss It but now let's end the fun and games and listen carefully if i see you with any guy from the campus or someone who I don't recognise or associate with , you will be responsible of the condition he will be in be sure to remember that "
Honestly to hell with him but the timing seems off him being replaced as my partner and Luke's absence doesn't seem to be a coincidence .
"Did you have anything to do with Luke's disappearance" I speak slowly because I can't fathom why would he do that to an innocent guy .
He wasn't the Aiden I knew surely cause that version of Aiden was dead to me , but this Aiden was even worse , destroying everything until it will eventually consume him.
"Star, are you really that obsessed with me , that you are so attuned to me , guess some habits are hard to let go " He spoke smirking, the nerve of this man .
" Aiden weren't you the one who stalked my partner and did God knows what with him to make an example and spent your "precious " time talking to me that speaks volumes about your obsession with me."
His smirk faded away replaced by an expression one could only classify as cold vengeance.
We both knew I was right , yet one of us would die before admitting it.
"Well I was trying to be polite and exchange pleasantries , but I forgot ,
stars crave the burn so let's give you that" before I could retort further I was pulled away by him , God knows where . "
The view I saw in front of me was no less than horrifying, i saw Luke battered and beaten to the bone by Aiden's friends who were trying to enjoy his misery.
"Stop ! Are u looking at his condition, he is serious injured , have you guys no soul , you assholes"
Before I could move further I was held back by him , I tried to get out of his grip but it was literally Iron grip , I couldn't move an inch even if I tried.
Aiden's pov
She was horrified at the sight beneath her , yes I had done that , what my star doesn't know is that I have this incessant need to watch her , and because of this when I saw her being uncomfortable while talking to him , i took the liberty to teach the lesson to the fucking tool.
Women are meant to be respected and worshiped not made uncomfortable, certainly not under my watch ,would i let my star suffocate.
She was trying to get out of grip but I held her back , meanwhile Giovanni and Xander were bloody enjoying beating the fucking tool , Giovanni wasn't an expressive person ,but he had a slight smirk on his face betraying his emotions.
I could see her righteous side fighting inside her to help the guy but it wasn't happening ever .
Before I could say something she twisted her hand and slapped me across the face
" How dare you cage me like that , i will never tolerate your possessive behaviour , we have no relation with each other , so stay in your limits "
Oh how delusional she was , she thought acting high and mighty would make me obey her , my star really doesn't burn easily guess ,I have to increase the heat .
