So the partners would be chosen by chit randomly. When they reached Amara and Chiara they were both paired with Giovanni and Xander but they were nowhere to be found, well honestly who cares Amara and Chiara were totally cool with the situation and I got paired with Luke who is art major , seemed cute btw like he had boyish features which honestly were not my type but we could be friends tho.
"Hey Adele right ??.I was paired with you for the orientation week".He seemed polite and respectful and had an easy going smile so I relented.
"Yeah I am Adele , nice to meet you " I said being polite and our old courtesy like what else should I say.
"Me too btw do you wanna grab coffee and some food somewhere tomorrow so we could get to know each other.''
And this is how I know my kindness has come to bite me in the ass , like how are men so delusional that just because they look good they can walk up to any girl ask them out and the girl will be dying to go out on the said date.
"Actually I will be busy setting up stuff since we've just moved in but hey we'll meet tomorrow for the challenges right "
I said, hoping he would take the damn hint.
"Yeah sure totally get it " He said giving me pure relief.
The next day....
I went to the main campus hoping to find Luke , but he was nowhere to be found almost like he erased his existence and was a figment of my imagination.
The member of the organising team just came to me Mille if i remember correctly found me , she looked nervous, slightly shaking even and then she said
" Heyy so Luke wouldn't be able to take part in the challenges as he has gotten injured so he has been replaced with Aiden"
"Wait what happened to Luke he seemed fine yesterday" I said because I just saw the guy yesterday.
"Well , he got into a fight with someone he shouldn't have "
Then she ran off as if her ass was on fire , there was something really wrong with the lot of them.
I was about to look for her and demand some sort of an explanation when I realised someone's hot breath fanning my ear and I heard the voice which i recognised as the bane of my existence.
"Missed me Star"
he said his voice sent chills down my spine , gosh i never hated my body as much as before .
